I had a couture yarn store in the early 1980s. As most creative people are inclined - we start and don’t finish projects. This is one of those. I hand knit the back and front then but never added the sleeves or neck.
When I discovered the piece in a bag with others I decided to get er done so to speak. I also decided to not make the full traditional sleeves and neck. Instead I created a split neck and matched the sleeve facings.
The color is the things along with the cloud intarsia shapes. Anny Blatt is known for the amazing colors. The mohair yarn is Simba Flap - an Italian yarn that is actually 2 yarns together. One is a cotton/acrylic/viscose blend the other 100% mohair.
Suggest dry cleaning.
